Ar(t)ménie, art and handcraft exhibition

From 18th January to 8th February 2020, the Muscari association and the Family Care Foundation will present, as part of the exhibition “Ar(t)ménie”, the ceramics produced in the Foundation’s workshop in Gyumri. With this exhibition, the organisers, ACAM and Noisy-le-Grand town hall, wish to honour Armenian art and handcraft. 

Blending styles, technics and times : here is the aim of the exhibition Ar(t)ménie. It is at the heart of this project that several example of ceramics created Gyumri will be exhibited, following the tradition of Armenian potters of Kütahya.

In addition to the ceramics of Gyumri, visitors will be able to admire the works of Armenian painters, wood sculptures, ceramics from Jerusalem and the movie The khatchkars enter in the Louvre which traces the journeys of the katchkars from Armenia to the Louvre Museum for the exhibition “Armenia Sacra” in 2007.
