International Economic Meeting “Armenia”
The Muscari association was pleased to be part of the Franco-Armenian Economic Meeting on Friday, November 30, 2018 (11am-1pm) at Saint-Etienne’s City Hall.
This meeting, organized by the City of Saint-Etienne, aimed to show to the public from St-Etienne the economic opportunities existing in Armenia, and to put forward various forms of Franco-Armenian cooperation.
As such, Muscari was invited to testify about its experience in Armenia through a presentation of its activity and its ceramics workshop in Gyumri.
Muscari and its Armenian partner, the Family Care Foundation, created in 2014 a workshop in the second most important city in the country, Gyumri. The project was led by the willing to put the rehabilitation of a typically Armenian tradition of artistic handicraft in the service of local economy (creation of 16 jobs and more to come).
The intervention has in particular highlighted the importance of the partners in the success of a Franco-Armenian project, mentioning Antonio Montalto, the founder of the Family Care Foundation.
This meeting was attended by Mr. Gaël PERDRIAU – Mayor of Saint-Etienne, President of Saint-Etienne Metropole – and Ms. Gayané MANUKYAN, Vice-Consul of Armenia in Lyon.
